A Republican chief has stirred up controversy by posting a video of her setting LGBTQ-inclusive books on hearth with a flamethrower. Valentina Gomez is operating for Missouri secretary of state and the video is part of her marketing campaign.

“That is what I’ll do to the grooming books once I turn out to be secretary of state. These books come from a Missouri public library. Once I’m in workplace, they’ll burn,” Ms Gomez says within the video.

The 24-year-old claims that if elected, she is going to burn all books that “groom, indoctrinate and sexualize youngsters.”

The video shared on her official X, Fb, and Instagram accounts, exhibits her burning two books with a flamethrower. The 2 books she set ablaze seem like ‘Queer: The Final LGBTQ Information for Teenagers’ and ‘Bare: Not Your Common Intercourse Encyclopedia’.

The video then cuts to a picture of Ms Gomez holding a gun. It has gone viral and already has over 1.2 million views on X (previously Twitter).

In one other submit on X, Ms Gomez shared one other photograph holding a rifle and wrote, “Thanks on your help, keep away from the kids. I am not asking.”

She claimed that she is going to defend all youngsters as she has Jesus on her facet.

Valentina Gomez’s marketing campaign web site describes her as an actual property investor, financier, strategist, and “a fierce advocate for the rules and values we maintain pricey as Individuals battling for a greater future”.
